અડ્યાં; જાગી ઊઠ્યો તરત થઈને મોર-કલગી<br />
જઈ બેઠો સાખેઃ પછી નીરખું તો તોરણ તમે<br />
રહ્યાં મ્હેકી... પાછો હું સરકી જઈ કુંજર સમ<br />
થયો પાણિયારું... ઉતરડ, બની તામ્રવરણી<br />
ઊગી મોરી ઊઠ્યાં, ઝગુંમગું થઈ ચોક ટહુક્યો.<br />
વલોણું, સાંબેલું, જલ-સભર બેડું, વળગણી,<br />
તવી, ચૂલો, ઘંટી, વળી દહીંની દોણી, નિસરણી.<br />
બધાંની વચ્ચે તું ઊજળું ઊજળું છાપરું થઈ<br />
ઠરે એ પ્હેલાં તો ઊતરી ગઈ લૂખા લીંપણમાં.<br />
હવે તું લોહીમાં હલચલી પછી લિસ્સું સરતી<br />
ચિતા બે આંખોની નિત સળગી ચિત્કાર ભરતી.<br />
