સૂક્ષ્મ પાઠ(Micro text) : કોઈપણ સાહિત્યકૃતિના બૃહદ્ પાઠના વિવિધ અવયવોમાંથી પ્રત્યેક અવયવની પોતાના ઉપઘટકો સહિત ટૂંકા ફલકની સંગતિનો સૂક્ષ્મ પાઠ હોય છે. આ સૂક્ષ્મ પાઠની સંગતિ સ્થાનિક નિયંત્રણો(local constraints)થી ઊભી થતી હોય છે. આ જ વસ્તુને પોત તરીકે પણ ઓળખવામાં આવે છે. ચં.ટો.
